I admit it...I'm discouraged by my latest measurements.
There I said it.
However, when I talked with my coach (Big Al), I was reminded about the girth gains.
I was getting into the fixed mindset again.
I am going to revert to the growth mindset and I'll review the weeks of training with hopes of passing on what I learned to you as my faithful reader.
I'll use growth mindset questions:
- What did I learn from this [length] setback? ~ I learned that the penis is in a constant state of flux. One day I may have great EQ and the next day not so much. I did my very best (which is key) in the A-stretches and I didn't move the needle at all in gains. I think a new strategy/exercise needs to be looked at.
- What strategy are you going to try now? ~ Good question. I will get with my coach to see. I am thinking slow cranks may yield some length fruit.
- What will you do to improve? ~ I will continue to try and give my best while relaying more on my coach too.
- What are some different strategies I could have used? ~ I like the idea of alterations. When I worked out with heavy weights, I had a program where I would do certain exercises then switch it up to confuse the body. I wonder if this can be applied to PE too. Hmmm. Other strategies would be hanging and longer duration of stretching.
- How did you keep going when things got tough? ~ With split training, I didn't have many tough times. I did go through emotional challenges yet by God's grace, I thrived. I got through them through prayer.
Modalities For This Training Cycle (Things I Added)
- Clamping
- Clamp Edging, Squeezing and Gentle Pulling
- Edging for 15 min x 5 days + Aneros added at times
- Daily Kegels/RKs - 20 reps x 3 sets
- Daily Slow Kegels - 10 reps - 5 count build up - hold 5 count - release 5 count - RK 5 count
- Daily Towel Raises - Reached 53 reps from 20 reps starting point (used bath towel as weight and added small foot towel to the weight once I reached 50) + Aneros added at times
- Testicle Massage: 36 reps each direction
- Mantak Chia Suggestions: 300 kegels a day & "Sharpening The Sword" (50 jelqs in 5 directions every day)
- Before bed: Pelvis massage, belly button massage, massaging blood into pelvis.
- Adding Celery Seed to my daily water bottle.
- Eating Arugula daily.
- Taking Korean Ginseng capsule once a day at lunch time.
- Cold Showers in the morning (to face my fear and to increase testosterone)
- Mediation practice (3 to 10 minutes in the morning).
- All day cock ring wear (except bedtime) - sometimes wearing two to four rings depending on my mood.
- After many months of getting only 6 hours of sleep, I made the decision to get 8 hours of sleep. My life is so much better!
Notable Positive Results
- Harder erections (most days I would balloon to 3.9 out of 4.0 for morning wood).
- More frisky (the 5 day edging made my sexual engine purr more).
- Emotions were more in control.
- Wife made a comment on Sunday that she was sore from Saturday night. Hmmm. Could girth increase be the cause or the latex?
- Flaccid gains!
Overall, I think this training period was an educational one. I am planning on investing in a leather ball stretcher because I want to take care of my testicles and my prostate as well.
I am also considering getting an electric pump in the future (I would adore getting a Dr. Kaplan one however $400 is a tad over my price limit) so I am looking at other affordable (read: frugal...okay...cheap) options. :becky:
