Hey guys, get this-
Validation ,quality active rest days produce gains.
I haven't done any excersize, pumping, or hanging in the past two days, HOWEVER- in these two consecutive rest days I have GAINED (~1\4 inch )
I had a Personal breakthrough.
FYI I organize my routine by weeks, and days in the week
To stumbled upon a idea which I applied.
I'll call it a "intensity cycle" if you will
An example of a cycle:
Part 1
++++ place the highest intensity workouts early in the week.
take it down a notch from there and maintain the early week blast's effects by getting ACTIVE rest days as you go.
( blast it on Monday, be 100% HEALED and GROWN by Saturday ready for the next Monday )
Part 2
++++ After 2 or 3 weeks of putting intense workouts first, and recouping ( healing for the next round of enlargement )
The next two weeks should be FOCUSED on active recovery, and claiming your gains, not being greedy and overreaching ( or over stretching!!)
So basically my personal plan is tough workouts early in the week.
And tough weeks early in the month.

Tough couple days, then QUALITY REST dayS
Then
Tough couple days, then QUALITY REST dayS
Then
Easy couple days, QUALITY REST daySTHEN
Super focused on recovery and rest ( ready for an early month personal best workout )
Its kind of like this....
1. Work out hard
2.Rest rest rest
3.Stabilize and repair tissue
4. SMASH that plateau!
Set yourself up to break a small weekly plateau, instead of trying to overcome a long, chronic plateau ( much tougher )
